Villa Toscana Agricultural Holding is in Campiglia Marittima, a town on the Tuscan Coast, near Livorno. The farm covers an area of 59 acres.
Villa Toscana is a sole proprietorship leading by the owner Tiziana Stafforte. She studied at the University of Pisa where she got a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Commerce. Now she runs the family company with a well consolidated staff. Villa Toscana is today a multifunctional company and it makes Val Cornia a productive, viable territory. The characteristic feature of the land is its thick layer of loose and fertile soil where horticultural products and cereals grow in ease and plenty. Indigenous olive groves (Moraiolo, Leccio, Frantoio) occupy a small portion of that area so there is also a production of an excellent Tuscan extra virgin olive oil.
Fruit and vegetables crops (tomato, Morello artichoke, cabbages, pepper, aubergine) are made using the open-field system. This kind of traditional cultivation pays attention to the crop rotation, the water resources, the production and transformation systems.
Most of our products are sold in the spot and/or to collective’s collection centres. A part of the tomato production goes to a local factory.
Our duty is to support the typical Tuscan products enhancing their qualities.
